Financial Times

The Financial Times is one of the most respected broadsheets in the world. I worked with the FT’s internal products team to improve the editorial tools that the Ft relies on to create and publish stories.

Leading product design for internal, editorial systems at the Financial Times — helping one of the world’s most respected news organisations work smarter and serve its readers better.

I also led a comprehensive review of the FT’s suite of email newsletters, redesigned them, and made it easier for editors to create and edit their content.

Outcomes

I helped the internal products team to improve the core content management system the FT uses, as well as designed new features for editors and journalists to use, across the FT. I also led the redesign of all of the FT’s newsletters and designed improvements to the way newsletters could be created.

  • I worked collaboratively with internal stakeholders, development teams and product managers to improve the design and usability of the core scntent management system at the FT.

  • I ran a design discovery phase, including user research, that then led to a redesign of all of the FT’s newsletters and improved the way newsletters could be created.
